The new dennis-alejo.com is live: what is published and what comes next

A new 2026 website for business consulting and project management. What is live today, and what is coming in website changes, services and products.

Three pages of the new dennis-alejo.com website, the home page, the blog and the publishing calendar, side by side
The 2026 website, built the way I build projects: a scope, a calendar and a scoreboard.

I rebuilt this website in October 2026, and I built it the way I build everything else: as a project. It has a scope, a calendar, a scoreboard and a public log of what worked and what did not. Today is the day I can call it the new 2026 website, so this first News post does three things. It lists what is already live, it shows what changed today and it lays out what is coming in the website, in services and in products. If you only want the dates, jump to the calendar.

What is live today

The site is built around one idea: every business is a collection of projects, and the ones that win run them like projects. Here is what you can use right now.

  • 25 long guides on project management, risk, change, data, contracts, construction and AI, each with a small interactive tool on the page. Start with the blog or browse them by topic.
  • 8 free Excel templates you can download after leaving your email: risk register, stakeholder map, contract calendar, decision log, weekly review, change request log, communication plan and benefits tracker. They live in the toolkit.
  • The Project Focus Diagnostic, a two-minute check that shows which of the three engines of your business, leads, operations or sales, leaks first. Take it here.
  • 11 projects in the portfolio, including the public log of this very website: SEO for Business Success records every optimization, what moved and what did not.
  • Two products on the way: the book Kaizen vs. Gantt and the Contract AI Agent.
  • A partner page for open opportunities, a contact form and comments and reactions under every article.

What changed today

This release is mostly about order and about making the site easier to follow over time.

  1. A News section. News is separate from the articles. It will only contain recent events with sources, plus updates about this website and my projects. You are reading the first post.
  2. A newsletter. If you leave your email below, you get a short message when something worth reading is published. No spam, and you can leave whenever you like.
  3. Four publishing calendars. Articles, series, news and page updates each have their own list of dates on the calendar page, so you can see what is coming and when.
  4. A calmer home page. The journey section is now one continuous video with its own transitions. It plays by itself, and you can pause it or jump to any role.
  5. A simpler blog. The scroll animation is gone. The blog now opens with News, then the articles, then the series that are coming next.

What is coming on the website

The site gets its own calendar, just like the content. A few of the next steps:

  • Service pages. One page for each way I work, with proof, process and questions answered: business consulting in Utah, project management consulting in Salt Lake City and the United States, owner's representative services, AI and automation consulting, operations and process improvement, small business and startup advisory. The first two are planned for the end of October.
  • Five more templates: project charter, RACI chart, status report, lessons learned and project management plan, each with a worked example.
  • An RSS feed, a results and testimonials block on the service pages, a page to book an introductory call and a speed pass on the whole site.

Every item has a date on the page updates calendar. Dates move when reality does, and I update the page when they do.

What is coming in content

Services and products

My services stay the same six: Project Focus consulting, startup advisory, business partnerships, scaling strategy, automation and AI agents, and operations and owner's representation. What changes is how easy they are to find and understand, because each one gets a dedicated page.

On the product side, the book Kaizen vs. Gantt moves from outline to chapter plan between November and January, and a first chapter goes to early readers in the spring. The Contract AI Agent is in requirements and contract-stage mapping now, with an early-access prototype planned for the first half of 2027. The learning products and the next templates follow after that. These are estimates, not promises.

How to follow along

The simplest way is the newsletter. You can also keep the calendar open, send me a topic through the suggestion box or write to me through the contact page. The best questions become the next article, and I will say thank you in it if you leave your name.

Which of these would you like to see first: a service page, a template or a series? Tell me in the suggestion box.
